Tattoo Flash Drawing
Project Description: Students will study the style, techniques and history of Vintage Tattoo Flash. We will discuss how to pull and use STYLES of artwork with NEW ideas. Students will create a Tattoo Flash design using the vintage style but with new popular subjects. Students will also practice BLENDING with shadows.

A little bit about Tattoo Flash:
Old school (tattoo) refers to a Western or traditional American tattoo style featuring bold black outlines and a limited color palette.[This limited color palette typically included yellow, red, green and black. Purple was eventually added to it as well.

GOALS:
-Paper looks weathered/old (coffee wash and other weathering techniques)
-Contour drawing created with vintage tattoo style ideas and a new subject.
-Strong bold outline with sharpie.
-Chalk or Oil Pastel used for coloring/blending/shading. (Only use White, Black, Primary Colors, Green and maybe Violet)
