Magazine Collage - Important Pop Culture
Project Description: Students will create a collaborative poster around the ideas of finding imagery on important current pop culture and assemble those images in a collage format.

Collage describes both the technique and the resulting work of art in which pieces of paper, photographs, fabric and other ephemera are arranged and stuck down onto a supporting surface
Possible Subjects: Music, Movies, TV, Celebrities, Fashion, Trends, Games, Entertainment, Popular words or sayings,
Ways to get pictures: Newspaper, Magazines, Online &* Print (If you are going to search online for images, you need to copy/paste them into a google doc and share with me so I can print them off. Then you will cut them out and glue onto our class poster.)

Project GOALS: (You will be graded based on Mrs. Piro's observation of completing the following goals)
-Everyone will participate in adding to the poster for the next few workdays. (should participate every work day)
-All pieces added to the poster relate to current popular culture. (school appropriate)
-All pieces cut and glued well. (purposeful cuts, and no drippy glue)
-Poster 90-100% filled
