Slab Box
Project Description: Students are to create a cube (box) using slab pieces with a lid. The lid will be cut from the top of the box after the box has been constructed.
Measurement examples:
5" X 5" with 1/2 inch thick slabs will have a 5" x 6" top and bottom.
5" x 5" with 1/4 inch thick slabs will have a 5" x 5 1/2" top and bottom.

GOALS (Learning Targets)
-Sides and top of box are measured correctly for height, width, and slab thickness.
-Score and slip everything together well. No gaps or strange connections.
-Lid is cut and fits properly to the bottom of the box.
-Box is finished well (painted or glazed)
