Creature Soft Sculpture
Project Description: Students will be creating a soft sculpture (stuffed animal) of some sort of imaginary creature. Students will use a pillow creation method when building. Sculpture should be soft or squishy to the touch when complete.
GOALS:
-Creature should be of your own creation. No recreations of famous creatures.
-Creature should feel soft or squishy to the touch.
-Main structure should be made from fabric. Other details can be other craft materials (buttons, beads, yarn...)
-All seems should be closed well so no stuffing seeps out. *Mrs. Piro will perform a squish test.
***Think about how a pillow is constructed (Two equal sides are cut, glued or sewn on 3 sides, stuffed, then glued or sewn shut.)
