Challenge #1 Soap Dish
Project Description: You will be creating a soap dish that will hold a standard size bar of soap. The idea behind the soap dish is that it keeps the soap from sticking to a surface, sliding off the side of the counter, and keeping the soap off of any surface that would gather water.
This is the first project in the challenge series where you will be creating projects without instructions. You will need to think back to all of your building techniques you learned and practiced this year in order to complete the next few assignments. You will need to look at different examples of your subjects and do your own research on how to build if necessary. How you build it is entirely up to you, but you need to meet the goals listed below. As we continue towards the end of the year each challenge will increase in difficulty. This is prepping you to continue clay practice and studying on your own either outside of school or for advanced clay.
