Book Shadow Box
Project Description: Students will cut out a box from a book and create an Illustration using found objects inside the cut out of the book. Students will glue everything together and are also allowed to draw and paint images if needed.
An illustration is a decoration, interpretation or visual explanation of a text, concept or process, designed for integration in published media, such as posters, flyers, magazines, books, teaching materials, animations, video games and films.
A shadow box is an enclosed glass-front display case containing an object or objects presented in a thematic grouping with artistic or personal significance. The grouping of the objects and the depth effect created by their relative heights from the backing creates a dramatic visual result.
